The Royal Hotel in Stromness is currently serving evening meals in the Hudson Lounge Tuesday - Saturday from 5.30pm - 8.00pm through until mid-December, with a comfortable ambience and hearty seasonal fare. What better way to finish a day of Neolithic sight-seeing, cliff-top perigrinations or just plain work than with a meal with friends and family. Homemade smoked fish pie, Orkney beef & ale pie, Orkney beefburgers, mac and Orkney cheese, beer-battered fish and chips, veg curries, there is something for everyone at The Royal.

Running late - please give us a call if you know you may be a little late. In the event of a no-show we will try to contact you by phone, if we cannot get in touch with you we may release your table.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the lower deck area of the Hudson Lounge - we kindly request dogs are kept on a leash, remain on the ground, and do not sit on chairs or tables.
